A deeply disturbing horror experience, or maybe just another gory yawn fest - find out what Oscar thought.

When will Hollywood realise that it takes more than a great concept to make a good movie. A movie needs a script, a director and actors. This movie had none of these. All it had was an incredible concept that was turned into the a big pile of smelly turd. Imagine two people locked in a room together with a dead body and instructions for the one to kill the other before 6pm.If these two people were played by Cate Blanchett and Naomi Watts it could have been a remarkable thing to see. The psychological torment would have been palpable. Instead we get Cary Elwes who was past his prime at birth and some other random dude that should never attempt to act again.

Imagine too if this scenario were orchestrated by Wes Craven. The tension would have been so incredibly high that the viewers themselves might have wanted to saw off their feet. Instead it is directed by someone whose name I’m avoiding because once I know it is I might have to orchestrate my own death-trap to punish him for taking away an hour of my precious life. I can imagine the directors commentary, “Oh yes, I remember this scene, this is the scene with the terrible acting. Watch as Cary tries to cry. Hahaha. Boy did we have a lot of fun filming this.”

This movie gets a Calista Flockhart tit rating. The tits would have been inverted if it hadn’t in fact been a great concept.
